Let me start off by saying this has been a long time in the making. After constant back and forth, excuses, and motivation, I was able to finally take the plunge and start my new blog. I would love to introduce myself. My name is Kai. I am from Las Vegas, NV, a mom of a middle school student (will not reveal my age hehe) and a working student in the health care administration field. I work full time in a home health care agency and go to school part time to earn my bachelor’s in health care administration and policy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. I’ve been working and going to school full time for the past 2 years and I will be honest, without the use of online blogs and information forums I would not be able to make it this far in my career. This is when I decided that I would host my own educational blog to help individuals find their way through their career path in the health care industry.

I’ve spent the last decade balancing school, work, traveling, and hobbies as well as the most important role of parenting. There have been many ups and downs through these adventures but I am proud to say that my hard work has led me to raising a successful honor student and consistently getting promoted in my roles as I aspire to higher education. I have owned small businesses and worked for myself to gain a great experience on creating a great work-life balance. I hope that I can create tips that can help other working students who aspire to great goals and achievements. This blog encourages comments and interaction as this is to be a safe space for college students to get through the ebs and flows of their careers.
