Feeling Good in Fall

Written by:

‘Tis the season of hot drinks and cozy boots, warm sweaters and fun outings. Who doesn’t like this time of year to embrace the cool weather we have been waiting on to get our hearts set on the holiday festivities. I know that one of my goals this Fall is to visit the pumpkin patch and attend some family fall festivals. I bought tickets to the Ooogie Boogie Bash this Halloween for my birthday, and I am looking forward to having a spooky good time with my daughter. I already stocked up on cute Halloween Disney accessories to get us in the spirit of Halloween.

Be sure to be on the look out for our travel vlog to Oogie Boogie Bash on my Youtube Channel!

Those are just a few plans I have for this season. There are other small activities that I am interested in getting involved in. I signed up for a few volunteer events to include The Walk for Alzheimer’s. I’m really looking forward to spending quality time with my coworkers, friends, and family for a good cause. I was also introduced by my sister to the awesome crafting of embroidery stitching. I have found it to be one of the more peaceful hobbies that will be perfect for the Fall season.

Transitioning from Summer to Fall is also a great time to refresh our wardrobe and hygiene routine. When the seasons start to change, I like to invest in a new foundation that is right for the season. I personally have started wearing concealer with setting powder and powder foundation and it happens to give me the best complexion throughout the whole day. Granted it’s not over 100 degrees outside to be sweating my makeup off. I also finally got the opportunity to pull out my favorite sweaters and boots to wear to work and on the weekends.

I also love to buy new body care especially at Bath and Body Works where they have so many great options for the seasons with candles, body products, and even home décor. Not sure if this is true for everyone but I always seem to run into Marshall’s during my Bath and Body Works visits when I want to find more holiday décor to go with my new scents. They have the greatest home décor at unbeatable prices that is so hard to resist but so gratifying when it livens up the home.

If you have any traditions for the fall season or some activities that you would like to explore this year, please share in the comments. Maybe you can inspire someone to get outside and enjoy the season.
